Honoring those who raise the bar.
One of the most powerful traditions of the Atlantic Oase Conference is celebrating individuals and companies whose work makes a lasting impact on our trade. This year’s award recipients exemplified the passion, leadership, and dedication that define the pond and water-feature community.

The AO Pro Contractor of the Year Award went to Mat Kapas of Aqua Doc Inc. This honor recognizes a company that consistently demonstrates superior installation quality, exceptional customer service, and an unwavering commitment to continued education. The Monster Award was presented by the legendary Lloyd Lightsey, known affectionately as the Pond Monster. Created in his honor, this award recognizes individuals who embody generosity, community spirit, and the massive positive influence that defines what it means to “Live the Pond Life.” This year’s recipient, Lora Lee Gelles, former Publisher of POND Trade Magazine, received heartfelt applause.
