POND Trade Magazine has opened submissions and nominations for the 2026 Water Artisan of the Year Awards, with an expanded program designed to recognize outstanding craftsmanship, creativity and innovation throughout the pond and water feature industry.
For the first time, industry professionals and the public may nominate deserving projects for consideration. Contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, homeowners and fellow industry professionals are invited to nominate exceptional ponds and water features. Following a nomination, POND Trade will contact the project’s builder and invite them to complete an official submission.
Pond builders and water feature professionals may also submit their own work directly, with participation encouraged from professionals at all stages of their careers. The 2026 Project Excellence categories include Best Naturalistic Pond, Best Pondless Water Feature, Best Formal Water Feature, and Best Recreational & Swim Pond.
Expanded Special Recognition Awards include Best Overall Pond Project, Best Collaborative Project, Best Mature Water Feature, Photo of the Year and Lifetime Achievement Award.
