The 2025 IWGS Symposium is being held from August 12-16, 2025 in New York, NY.
Included in the main symposium are tours to the renown Brooklyn Botanic Garden, New York Botanical Garden, Aquascapes Unlimited (a wholesale aquatic and carnivorous nursery), Fitz’s Ponds (Koi Nursery) and Waterford Gardens (now FFP Saddle River). We end with the Education Day and closing banquet at Wavehill Botanic Garden.
In addition to the main Symposium, there will also be a pre-Symposium and a post-Symposium tour. Spaces are limited so please book for these as early as possible.
The pre-Symposium on Tuesday, August 12 includes a day tour of Central Park to visit Little Island, Tulip Garden, Central Park Conservancy Garden and a special guided tour of the collections and exhibitions of rare and beautiful objects at the world-renowned Metropolitan Museum of Art.
The post-symposium on August 16 will take you to “Longwood Reimagined” – Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA. Just imagine amazing new gardens, new glasshouses, new landscapes, and new dining all ready to be discovered.
