POND Trade’s 2024 Water Artisans of the Year Contest is Open

Thomas VanAmerongen of Niagara Waterscapes submitted a winning entry in the “most naturalistic” category in 2023.

The ninth annual Water Artisans of the Year contest from POND Trade magazine is officially open. Eligible projects must have been completed between Nov. 1, 2023 and Nov. 1, 2024. There are four categories to choose from – most naturalistic, best pondless, recreational ponds, and formal ponds and fountains. The contest is open to professional installers only. Entries must be received by November 30, 2024.

“Being honored as an Artisan of the Year is a significant professional achievement, and we love to highlight the amazing work of our readers,” says Lora Lee Gelles, publisher of POND Trade. Winning entries will be featured in the March/April 2o25 issue of POND Trade. “Recreational ponds is a new category for the contest, and we’re excited to see the entries,” added Gelles.

The entry fee for 2024 is a $25 donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Click here to enter the contest.
