Orland Park, IL —Lora Lee Gelles is pleased to announce she will be handing the reins of POND Trade to new owner/publisher, Lauren Nolan. Gelles has been the owner/publisher of POND Trade for the last 12 years.
“I am so grateful to all our readers and people I’ve met on my journey as publisher,” says Gelles. “It’s hard to leave the best job ever, but I’m looking forward to putting my feet up and enjoying retirement.”
Nolan will take over as publisher and owner beginning on March 6, 2025. She has already immersed herself in the pond industry.
“We’ve been working together for the last year and I’m confident that I’m leaving the magazine in good hands,” says Gelles. “Lauren’s marketing background and commitment to the industry make her the right person to ensure a great future for POND Trade.”
