Pond Portals is a small, family-owned business focused on providing high-quality koi pond viewing windows made in America. Each kit includes a stainless-steel frame, stainless-steel retainer, glass, sealant, fasteners and more. Clear installation and maintenance instructions are included with every order.
Standard sizes are designed for block walls consisting of standard 8-by-16-inch blocks. Custom sizes are available upon request. All window frames are made with factory-certified 316 stainless steel to prevent surface rust and degradation failure.
Unlike recessed windows that sit behind the wall, Pond Portals are incorporated directly into the pond wall. These “infinity-style” windows bring the water level right up to the top of the glass, offering an unobstructed view into the pond. All edges are smooth and flush with the wall to ensure koi safety.
Installation of Pond Portals
The windows are designed with both DIYers and contractors in mind. The patent-pending design is focused on simple installation and superior leak resistance. Each Pond Portal includes built-in anchors that secure the frame into a block wall. These anchors also serve as watertight fasteners for the stainless-steel retainer.
Thanks to the dual-purpose anchors, installing the liner is similar to installing a skimmer. The gasketed fasteners, welded anchors, retainer, sealant and liner work together to provide outstanding leak resistance with an intuitive installation process. For contractors, this means spending less time chasing leaks. For DIY installers, it means more time enjoying your koi.
