Geert Meganck grew up in Flanders, Belgium, and has been passionate about horticulture since the young age of 15. In 1986, he pursued a two-year horticulture and landscape college diploma in Ottawa. Fresh out of college in 1988, he started his own specialized residential landscape business serving the Greater Ottawa-Gatineau capital region, with a focus on water features.
