Mike Muyskens' company Advantage Wildlife Management was hired by Wild Birds Unlimited in 2004 to install ponds for their customers as a wildlife attraction service.  When WBU experienced some economic challenges they decided to end the pond building.  Mike decided to work it out with them to obtain their customer list.  While the pond business dwelled a short time in the wildlife management company, Mike came to the conclusion rather quickly that building ponds was his calling and AWM Water Features was created the following year. AWM seeks not only to enhance their customer's lifestyles with a beautiful water feature but also to create natural aquascapes that benefit local ecosystems by utilizing native aquatic plants and providing unique habitats for local wildlife.
