I'm the owner and operator of Koi Depot of San Diego and have been running my business since 1989. My passions are many, such as my work in the construction industry since 1972 and as an avid saltwater aquarist since 1984. I have combined these two passions and found my true calling in the water features and design space when I went to my first Koi meeting and show in 1987.
In Jan 2000, one of our pond designs was featured on the cover of Koi USA and also developed the Koi Keeper Assistant Software in 2004. Collaborators on the software included Michael Oleksak and Dr. Eric Johnson DVM. Koi Depot is all about continuous improvement and this includes my education credentials from the College of the Desert, Agricultural Mechanization, '75-76, Cuyamaca College, CAD/CADD Drafting and Design Technology/Technician, '87-88.
Over the last 27 years, we have grown and learned so much about Koi and water features. This is what drives Koi Depot of San Diego!
"One goal, One passion: Provide the best environment for the growth and health of your Koi."
