Braeden Branch brings seven years of pond industry expertise to every project, combining his environmental science and biology background with an artist’s eye for natural design. After graduating college, he honed his understanding of freshwater ecosystems as an aquarist at Richmond’s local aquarium, where he taught educational classes on stream ecology and freshwater species.
While Braeden loved the aquarium environment, he craved the creative freedom that comes with working outdoors. This led him to join his first pond crew, where he quickly mastered the fundamentals of pond construction. When he joined the Pondscapes of Charlotte team, his natural leadership abilities and technical skills propelled him from the service department to become one of our top master builders.
Braedon has earned recognition throughout the Charlotte area for transforming customers’ backyards into stunning natural retreats. His specialty lies in crafting waterfalls that capture the essence of the Blue Ridge Mountains, drawing inspiration from countless hours he spent exploring Virginia and North Carolina’s mountain streams as a child and young adult. Each waterfall he builds reflects this deep connection to the natural world, creating authentic mountain-stream experiences right in customers’ backyards.
