8th Annual Blue Thumb Pond Expo feeds the positive vibe for 2012

Celebrating 8 years of Pond Expos, Blue Thumb Distributing rolled out the red carpet for attendees this season. Over a dozen pond supply Manufacturers, special guest MISS Dig and Alta Landscape Equipment exhibited.

Approximately 18% of the attendees were new to the event, representing a good cross between Landscape Contractors and Pond and Garden Center Retailers from Michigan, Ohio, Illinois and Wisconsin. Visitors provided positive feedback on the current state of the landscape market, citing increase growth in hardscapes and low maintenance water features like the PondBuilder Formal Falls for retaining walls.

During round table discussions attendees discussed market barriers with Rick Weidman from Airmax on Earth and Lake Management, Website and Online SEO with Krista Moon of Strategic Thinking Online, as well as several other topics related to water gardening.

In tradition, during closing statements two Companies were lucky recipients of the Grand Prize Giveaway, a 28” Formal Falls Kits by PondBuilder. Needless to say, everyone left the event with a positive outlook for the fall season ahead and with new ideas for 2012.
