Who is POND Trade Magazine?

Tom and Cindy Graham purchased Pondkeeper magazine July 2008 and have re-named and re-launched the magazine as POND Trade Magazine. Between them, they have over 25 years of magazine experience and Tom has had a koi pond since the 1970s and a water garden for over 10 years.

This is a bi-monthly magazine with many articles about the pond industry written by leading experts in their field. Fields like pond construction, pond maintenance, pond equipment, aquatic plants, koi, goldfish, and business topics like marketing and personal growth.

What is the POND Trade Mission?

Our mission here at POND Trade Magazine is broad and ambitious. We intend to be the uniting force in the Watergarden and Koi industries, which we are calling the Garden Pond Industry.

Why is it important to unite the Pond Trade Industry?

With the pressure on the pocketbooks of the American Consumers today, the Watergarden and Koi industries need each other now more than ever. We are still a relatively young industry, and so in this economy many companies have really had to wade through the down times alone. Now is the time for us to put aside the differences that have caused some polarization, and recognize we are not competing with each other as much as competing with the gas station and vacation timeshares for the consumer's dollar. We are competing for the expendable income that our customers have less and less of.

POND Trade Magazine's goal is to help this industry find new ways to share knowledge and experience, so every business can reach their own potential in the quest for excellence. We believe we all win if we work together.
