Rick Bartel Appointed to ASA/TCAA Subcommittee on Architectural Acoustics

Published on October 18, 2013

Dr. Gary Madaras of the Acoustical Society of America and Chairman of the Technical Committee on Architectural Acoustics has officially announced that Rick Bartel has been named to sit on the ASA/TCAA Subcommittee on Architectural Acoustics. Rick’s presence on the committee will help to establish national and international guidelines for maintaining positive experiences with regards to the various applications for aquatic acoustics in architectural structures primarily involving health care facilities.

According to Dr. Madaras, Rick’s vast experience and knowledge in aquatic acoustics and the subsequent release of human endorphins created from these water borne acoustics, will make Rick an important asset to this organization.”

This committee placement could bring some much needed outside attention to our little industry and expose what we do to a very large group of international architects and designers.
