Northern Illinois IPaWGS announces ED O’Day as new Secretary/Treasurer

The northern Illinois chapter of the International Pond and Water Garden Society (IPaWGS) is pleased to announce that Ed O’day, of St. Charles, Illinois has agreed to accept the position of Secretary-Treasurer to fulfill the term of the retiring Marcia Tillotson, of Winfield, Illinois. Ed has been a pond hobbyist and enthusiast for many years and was recently the past President of the Fox Valley chapter of the North American Water Garden Society (NAWGs). Ed has been an enthusiastic member of the Northern Illinois chapter of IPaWGS since its inception in September of 2008.

Mike White, the President of IPaWGS North America, and President of his local chapter as well, was quoted as saying “Ed will bring his enthusiastic energy, vast experience from his past employment with Aquascape, Inc. prior to his retirement there, and fresh ideas to the Northern Illinois IPaWGS chapter. With his knowledge and experience I can see a lot of good things happening for our growing chapter.” IPaWGS is the hobbyist branch of the International Professional Pond Companies Association (IPPCA).
