NASCAR® Pit-stop at EasyPro Pond Products

Published on June 21, 2013

On Thursday, June 13, R + L Carriers Racing brought their number #17 Sprint Cup car and #2 Craftsman Series truck to EasyPro Pond Products in Grant, Michigan. About 100 guests and employees enjoyed a luncheon and a close-up encounter with the Nascar vehicles and hauler.

R + L Carriers takes this Nascar hauler across the country making almost 300 stops a year at companies like EasyPro. R & L Carriers states, “The Nascar tour reflects our appreciation for their local business and their trust in us to be their transportation provider.” The hauler was a rolling auto parts store. It carries the car and truck on the second level, parts to build another race car, tires, all the tools and a golf cart or two on the bottom. There is even a driver’s meeting lounge area with big screen TVs.

EasyPro’s owner, Dave Ouwinga said, “Participating in events such as this allows us to have a special day for our employees, their families and our vendors. We truly appreciate all their hard work this time of year as the pond and watergarden season is in full swing.”

*EasyPro Pond Products had a modest beginning in Grant, Michigan as Stoney Creek Trout Farm in 1970 — today it has grown to be one of the largest pond suppliers in the country with their EasyPro brand.*
