EPWORTH, GEORGIA: The National Association of Pond Professionals (NAPP) announced today that Eamonn Hughes will be the keynote speaker at the NAPP Water Feature Conference and Expo on February 26-28, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Hughes, a native of Ireland, has been designing and building water gardens in Europe and the Pacific Northwest for over thirty six years. Well respected within the gardening industry, he speaks throughout the United States at conventions and workshops on his favorite subject, water garden design and installation. His particular passion is the creation of water gardens that blend seamlessly and naturally into the surrounding landscape. He has coauthored two books and is currently working on a third. His designs have been published in many national magazines. Hughes received “The Retailer of the Year” award by the Oregon Association of Nurserymen for his development of his garden center and an honorary lifetime membership from the Oregon Landscape Contractors Association for his contributions to the industry.
Hughes will deliver the keynote address entitled “Transforming the water garden inspirations you see in nature into reality for your clients” on Monday morning, February 27, 2012. This exciting presentation will inspire and educate pond professionals in ways to capture vignettes from nature and recreate them in your designs and installations. Customers will be in awe at the beauty that you have created for them. This presentation, geared toward the contractors, will be cutting edge education that is a must attend for contractors, distributors, suppliers and manufacturers alike.
The 2012 Water Feature Conference and Expo will be held at the luxurious Suncoast Resort, approximately 25 minutes from the strip, in Las Vegas, NV. Two overnight stays are included in a booth purchase for exhibitors as well as for education registration attendees. A golf tournament is scheduled on Sunday afternoon, February 26 prior to the opening of the show. The Expo will have the trade show floor filled with national and international companies, big and small, offering their many quality products and services for the water feature industry.
