IPPCA Educational Program and Membership in Full Swing

Published on November 5, 2015

The GIE+Expo/Hardscapes show in Louisville was a great opportunity to present IPPCA to 50 or 60 new contractors and retailers interested in the new educational program and membership. Hats off to treasurer Rip Sokol and board member Mark Gibson who manned the booth803243.ai for the two-day show in the new north hall, surrounded by the new products pavilion, the food court and lots of green industry traffic.
The totals aren’t in yet, but it looks like this show was the busiest ever, and 20,000 participants is a reasonable guess at attendance. The IPPCA gratefully acknowledges the support and advice of Warren and Bill Sellers of Sellers Expositions, which made the show such a success. We also owe a great deal of gratitude to Denne Goldstein of Irrigation and Green Industry, and Lora Lee Gelles of POND Trade magazine, who have ceaselessly helped drive traffic our way all year.

The next step is the Irrigation Association Show in Long Beach California next week. We have quite a lineup of speakers for the educational seminars, you won’t want to miss these! Art Hantla of Shinmaywa Pumps, Mike Garcia of Enviroscapes, Warren Franz of Great Lakes and Andy Schoenberg of Little Giant are just a few of the great names presenting great topics at the Educational Seminars West November 11 and 12. Come on down to the show, we’d love to see you there!
