I recently purchased the Exact Idip meter IDIPB0060B along with the extra required tests and respective reagents. Recently my device, or apps (?) was updated and now shows some test are 570 and some are not. Some are labeled 570 compatible only. I need more info if my test are still valid. Can I upgrade my 3 month old device?
From Industrial Test Systems:
The original iDip is a 525nm instrument while the newer one is a 570nm question. The new 570 is not necessarily better, only different, it cannot do all of the tests the 525 can do but it can do some new ones, like ammonia. As far as the app goes, any test purchased that say 570 will not function with the old device and vice versa. However, if you already purchased the required tests for his 525 they will work for his 525 meter. If you have all 570 tests and would prefer to switch from the older 525 to the 570 we can do that. Return shipping and replacement/restocking fees may apply especially since, from what I understand, the device was not purchased from us directly.
