INFO TANZA ‘09 saw the IPPCA (International Professional Pond Contractors Association) set 3 new records for its 5th Annual Educational and Trade Show and Tell event.
This four-day event was the Pond and Waterscape Industry Trade Association’s first extension of what has traditionally been a three-day event. The IPPCA has hosted INFO TANZA since its inception in 2005. The extension to the additional day was justified by the additional trade related information that was offered and was heavily attended each of the four days.
Although the crowd was transitional as has been historically the case for this event, the aggregate total of attendees was one of the largest attended INFO TANZA’s yet. You could actually add an additional record with the number of vendors in attendance and the #1 award the IPPCA offers each year to one of its contractor members going to a women contractor, Brenda Sorrells of Exotic Aquatics from Savannah, Georgia. This award, the IPPCA Five Star Contractor Award, co-sponsored this year by Atlantic Water Gardens and Ewing Irrigation products Inc, comes with a trophy and a $1000.00 check.
