IWGS Symposium: Splendor in the Grasses (and other numerous water plants)

The International Waterlily & Water Gardening Society met in Denver, August 14-17. It included tours of the Denver Botanic Gardens and Hudson Gardens. Prior to the touring of these fabulous venues, industry leaders gave lectures on various subjects.

A true bonus was the Chihuly exhibit at the Denver Botanic Garden. Dale Chihuly sculptures were spread among the water features. At the Hudson Gardens, we enjoyed a hybridizing demonstration by Tony Moore, Mike Giles and Brandon McLane. Let’s let the pictures tell the story.
