Achievement of Honor – Ecological Laboratories, Inc. wins prestigious Horizon Council Industry Appreciation Award as 2009 MANUFACTURER OF THE YEAR in Lee County, Florida! Lee County’s YEAR’S BEST were announced at the September Industry Appreciation Week luncheon in Ft. Myers after a rigorous selection process. There were over 800 business men and women present to applaud the trophy recipients; Matthew Richter, VP of Marketing and Nick Simone, VP of Manufacturing and Distribution representing Ecological Labs. This distinction was won through over 10 years of perseverance in the state of Florida, company and product growth and development, and the 50 employees that work hard to get the job done right!
It was 1998 when Ecological Labs moved production from New York State to Cape Coral, FL and in the ensuing decade has expanded three times; they have just added an additional 25,000 square ft and added new automated bottling equipment. Ecological has become an international company in cleaning up waterways and they have restored aquatic life as far away as China. Microbe-Lift microorganisms are cleaning up water in ponds, canals, home aquariums, water gardens and septic systems from coast to coast (and now, beyond!) The Florida community has welcomed Ecological Labs into its fold. In return, Ecological Labs continues to give much back to the community.
