Pond Trade Magazine is proud to announce the 2nd winner of the Contractor’s Corner prize for 2016: it goes to Craig Tutt at Avalon Aquatics, Inc. May’s Contractor Corner (read here) tells a tale of how a married couple fell in love with residential ponds and found them to be a great source of happiness.

However, the husband passed away after a second pond was built and the widow, Marileen, decided to sell this house to be closer to her kids in Arizona. The story doesn’t stop there.

However, the story doesn’t stop there. Marileen called Craig Tutt to come down to Arizona and build another pond beauty. The new pond is a bridge to her husband and provides a lot of great memories due to it; we all need to find oases in life!

Here’s a bit of the article:

John died about a year and a half after the completion of that project. Marileen sold the house and moved to Yuma, Arizona, where her daughters live, and consequently where John and Marileen had previously spent every winter. She told me, “You have to come down and build me a pond. I have to have one!”

Congratulations to Craig Tutt and company, they won $250 worth of Pondliner products!

Enjoy the read and remember to submit your recent pond project below and win this quarterly prize. Click here for more information.
