Since Mike Hall was a small boy, he has been exposed to the plant and animal kingdom through his uncle, Denis Hall, who was the curator at the Staten Island Zoo. Mike bred and raised aquarium fish and invertebrates from the time he was in junior high school until his mid-20s. He then switched his focus to scorpions, snakes and tarantulas. He started working with Fitz’s Fish Ponds in Bound Brook, New Jersey, three years ago, where he is able to utilize all the skills he has acquired over the years.
