AQUASCAPE, INC AWARDED HONORABLE MENTION IN CRAIN’S LIST OF BEST PLACES TO WORK
St. Charles, Ill. –Aquascape, Inc. of St. Charles, Illinois was awarded with an honorable mention in Crain’s 2009 List of Best Places to Work in Chicago. Aquascape is North America’s leading innovator in the water features industry and invented the low-maintenance, naturally balanced ecosystem pond.
Any Chicago area business with more than 100 employees was eligible for Crain’s List of Best Places to Work and over 150 companies applied. More than 16,000 employees were surveyed by Valtera Corporation, an employee and human resources consulting firm that assisted Crain’s with the project. Companies were judged on salary compensation, promotions, benefits, relationships between management and employees, and other issues about the day-to-day workplace.

The recent addition to Crain’s list of Best Places to Work is yet another accomplishment for the 18-year old water feature company that appeared 4 times on the Inc 500 List of Fastest Growing Privately-Held Companies from 1999 to 2002, and earned LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification for its company headquarters in 2006.
