Aquascape, Inc. Announces 2011 Photo Contest Winners

St. Charles, IL – Aquascape, Inc. announced the winners of its 2011 Water Garden Lifestyle photo contest, which ran from March 1st through August 30th. Winners were announced during the company’s Fall Festival weekend, September 24-25th.
Photo entries were judged on how well the photographer captured the essence of the water garden lifestyle, in addition to quality of photography. Judges looked for photos that included images of people interacting with a water garden, photos that displayed an outdoor living space with a water feature, and photos of nature associated with water gardening. Entrance to the contest was free and cash prizes awarded to the winners. The winning entries include:

• Grand Prize awarded to Heather Douglass, $500
• 1st Runner Up awarded to Scott Hughes, $125
• 2nd Runner Up awarded to Merle Bievenour, $100
• 3rd Runner Up awarded to Kelly Olson, $75
• Honorable Mentions awarded to Cassandra Bremer, Jon Peterson, and Kelly Olson, $50
