Annual Burrowing Owl Festival

Ecological Laboratories, Inc. was pleased to be part of a community event at Rotary Park in Cape Coral, FL. The event was organized and hosted by the Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife. The volunteer group of residents work tirelessly, in protecting and maintaining the nests of the Endangered, Burrowing Owl.

Cape Coral boasts of the largest burrowing owl population in the world. The fundamental focus of the day is to provide an educational atmosphere as well as entertainment and fun for the visitors, both young and mature. Ecological Laboratories is proud to be a part of such a gratifying experience, and civic minded organization that has given so much to Southwest Florida.
