“The Orlando Show,” as it is known in koi circles, will be held March 9-11, 2018, at the Avanti Palms Resort Hotel (6515 International Drive, Orlando, Florida 32819).
It is the largest judged koi show in the eastern United States, drawing entries from across the country every year. Plus, the judged goldfish show, now in its sixth year, has become the largest goldfish show in the country.
In addition to the judged shows, there will be more than 35 vendors from across the nation with koi, goldfish, pond supplies, aquatic plants, garden art and more. Seminar presentations on koi, goldfish and ponds are conducted all day Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. The show hours are as follows: Friday, March 9 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, March 10 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, March 11 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This year’s show is sponsored by ZNA Southern Koi Association and the koi clubs of Orlando, Florida East Coast, Rainbow River and Gainesville. Admission is free. (The seminar series on Saturday is $10 for the day.)
