Pondliner Wholesale’s 2019 Water Garden Expo will take place on February 19-22 at the Heart of Oklahoma Exposition Center in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Dave Duensing of Aquatic Construction Services will headline the show with four intensive seminars on pond construction: Evolving your Water Feature Construction Methods, Naturally Filtered Water Gardens and Swim Ponds and a two-part seminar on waterfall and streams. While these seminars are extremely suitable for experienced builders, they are also beneficial for those of any skill level.
Dave is a frequent guest speaker at many regional, national and international water and landscape related conferences, including the 2008 and 2011 American Society of Landscape Architects Annual Meeting. Winner of a Masters of Design award from Pool and Spa News, his designs have been featured in numerous publications, including Water Shapes, Water Garden News, Pondkeeper Magazine, and the Chicago Tribune.
Kevin Dougherty will also lead three business seminars: How to Train, Motivate and Retain Employees, Advanced Estimating and Growing and Developing Supervisors.

Wednesday’s schedule has been changed to a series of hands-on seminars at Pond Pro Shop that cover installation techniques, practical applications of new products in the industry, and innovative problem-solving ideas.
The presentation of Pond Trade’s 2018 Artisans of the Year will kick off Thursday morning with twenty-four seminars following over the next two days. Three educational tracks will provide learning opportunities for all knowledge levels. Attendees can also visit with around 25 manufacturers exhibiting in the trade show and network with peers from across the country.
Karrie Lightsey of Living the Pond Life will be raffling off a quilt made from logos of the industry with all proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. Rumor also has it that Lloyd Lightsey’s beard may also be up for grabs to the highest bidder to raise more money for the cause.
