Las Vegas, NV – This week from the National Hardware Show HomeRight introduces the StainStick, the ultimate tool for staining decks this spring and summer, making staining decks faster, neater and easier.
Staining a deck on hands and knees with brush and open can of stain is a messy job. The StainStick draws stain or sealers directly from the can in seconds – no messy drips, no bending and no sticky brushes.
Whether an experienced do-it-yourselfer or homeowner, the StainStick stains decks, cedar siding and more with professional results in one-third the time compared to using a brush.
The StainStick holds up to 18 ounces of stain in the handle. Simply push the stain through the tube onto the pad and stain up to a 6’ x 6’ area without refilling. A small push applies a small amount of stain for light staining. A larger push applies more stain to cover a larger area quickly.
The StainStick works with virtually all stains and sealers for quick and easy application.
With its four-foot extension handle and pivoting pad it is easy to reach different surfaces and eliminates the aches and hassle of continuously bending over.
The StainStick’s brush-like applicator pad brushes the stain into the decking (as recommended by stain manufacturers). This works the stain deep in the grain of wood decking for a high-quality finish.
The Stainstick’s universal joint allows staining from different angles. The wrap-around pad and locking base make it easy to stain between boards. An edging guide keeps stain and sealers on intended surfaces.
When finished staining, attach the StainStick to the stain can cover and return the stain to the can. Clean up is easy. Fill the StainStick with appropriate solvent and flush.
