Radius Garden Extends the Reach of Its Award-Winning “O”- Handled Tools With New, Affordable Pro-Lites
Ann Arbor, MI, April 7, 2010 - Radius Garden introduces new Pro-Lite Tools, an affordable spin-off of its award-winning ergonomic PRO Tool line, winner of the prestigious 2007 Organic Gardening magazine Editors’ Choice Award. The lower price tag on this new line should make it easy for more gardeners - hobbyists and professionals alike - to get both hands on these innovative tools.
The Organic Gardening Editors’ Choice Awards are “the gold standard against which all gardening products are measured.” “Organic gardeners are very conscious about their consumption-they want to buy only high-quality tools…that [are] genuinely useful, versatile, and durable so they aren’t replacing them every season,” according to Scott Meyer, Organic Gardening editor.
Although Radius Garden’s new Pro-Lite Tools carry a lower price tag than the PRO line, they are manufactured to extremely high standards and are equally ergonomic. The comfortable, patented “O”- shaped handle, first developed for the PRO Tools, provides four times the gripping surface of conventional tools, with room for both hands. Four models are available (Transplanter, Spade, Shovel, and Digging Fork), each with a blade made of heat-tempered carbon steel. The three shovels feature comfortable over-sized, rolled forward steps, and the fork has sturdy square-shaped “English-style” tines. Pro-Lite shafts are made of pultruded fiberglass with reinforced sockets, and are five inches longer than the PRO Tool line, making these tools more comfortable for taller users.
Whether new to gardening or experienced, hobbyist or professional, gardeners looking for tools that are comfortable and easy to use will find a cost-effective and long-lasting solution in these new Pro-Lite tools from Radius.
