Pamela Stephens Schlett is General Manager of her families business, Stephens Aquatic Services, Inc. located in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania. This one-stop pond center has been in business creating ponds for more than 35 years. They specialize in all forms of ponds, both re-circulating and flow thru. Services include: design, installation, repair and year-round maintenance to fountains, and ponds of all sizes. Native wetland management and beneficial algae controls are a large part of the business. Their organic and pesticide-free aquatic garden center grows more than 250 varieties of aquatic plants and stocks thousands of ornamental and indigenous pond fish. The Garden Center is also home to rescued turtles, tortoises, chickens and many native reptiles and amphibians.

Pam’s resume includes a degree and 10 years’ experience as an Architectural Engineering Designer and Project Manager for commercial and residential construction. She has taught aquatic courses for Longwood Gardens’ Continuing Education Center, writes articles for numerous magazines and publishes her own newsletter. Pam has appeared on HGTV, as well as giving many local radio and newspaper interviews discussing numerous pond issues. Pam lectures at the Philadelphia, Chester County and New Jersey Flower Shows, koi association events and contributes to her company’s award winning exhibits.
